On Wednesday 12th December, the whole school went to St. Andrew's Church for our Christmas Carol Service.
The service, led by Revd Bill O'Connell, started with prayers read by some pupils from Year 5 and then the music ensemble played "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem".
Between the traditional Christmas Carols, Year 6 told us the Christmas Story, brought to life by Reception and Year 1 pupils forming a nativity tableau.
There was also a fun rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas, sung by the whole school, with illustrations held aloft by Year 2 & 3.
Revd Bill explained the symbolism of the different elements of the 12 Days song and the service ended with more prayers from Year 5.
We were very pleased to see the Church full of family, which really helped to give the service a festive feeling and a great start to the Christmas season.
