On Thursday 7th November, we held our Remembrance Service at St Andrew's Church.
The Rev Bill O'Connell reminded us of the importance of remembering people, things and events that are important to us. He showed us some pictures that held special memories for him.
Most of all, we remembered all those in the armed forces and other public services who gave their lives so that we could enjoy ours today.
During the service, two children from Acorn class helped Rev Bill put a wreath of poppies on the Wanborough war memorial. Members of Elm Class led us in prayers and Oak Class read 'In Flanders Fields' and an extract from 'For the Fallen'
