Wanborough is one of 44 primary schools from across Swindon holding a variety of sporting events throughout Sport Relief week. Each day there was be a school to school relay where one set of pupils will travel to another school to participate in an exercise and then pass on the baton.

Wanborough's Year 6 carried the baton to Chiseldon, walking from Coate Water. When they arrived, they took part in sports activities around the school grounds.
Mr Drury has also taken part in a 20 mile cycle ride with other heads and on Thursday there was a special event for all participating schools at The County Ground.
The event is also being supported by RADIO 1 DJ Greg James and former Olympian Greg Whyte, who recorded a special video to encourage the children to take part.

Around 300 pupils from 44 schools, including Wanborough Primary, came together for a one-mile lap around the County Ground running track, each having to complete four laps to hit the mile.

Mr Drury, Mr Day, Mr Luckhurst and Mrs Goddard have taken part in the postponed 5 & 10k runs.
In school, years 3 to 6 took part in Power Hoops (see Video below
In the afternoon, Year 1 & 2 practiced crickets skills in the playground, and Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 also took part in sports games with Mrs Hutchings in the hall.
