Our Topic for this Term is
Road Trip USA
As a class, we reflected on why it is that we celebrate harvest now in October yet we can eat these foods all year round.
This lead us onto talking about seasonality and exporting food. We found the five top exporters for certain food produce and chose to map three different foods and the greatest exporters of them across the world.
We then shaded them according to how big of an exporter they are, with darker shades meaning more of an exporter.
Finally, we researched how far away that country was and discussed food miles.
