With the prospect of thundery showers and strong winds, most of the fete stalls were indoors, with just the football tournament and the barbeque outside.
Fortunately we were able to fit a bouncy castle into the Reception class outdoor play area!
Indoors all the stalls did a brisk trade and the raffle and treasure chest ticket sales were excellent.
In the hall we enjoyed a reprise of two songs from Year 6's Lion King Show, the BSL club signing "You've Got A Friend In Me", the Strictly Wanborough group showcasing 4 dances and Emelia and Zara from Year 5 singing "Happy". At the end of the afternoon, the Zumba group had a high energy workout!
Outside in the car park, not one but two Police Cars (with lights and sirens) and not one but two Fire Appliances too!
It was great to see some returning faces from former pupils and their families. Thank you to everyone who supported this important fund raising even and congratulations to the PTA for doing such a great job in organising the event.
