We learn French at Wanborough Primary School.

We are lucky to have a link with a school in St Cyr, near Poitiers. Read more about this HERE...

In the Summer Term of 2015 our Year 6 class visited the school for the first time, and we are planning to visit again in Summer 2016.

Thanks to a previous Comenius Project, we also have a good relationship with a school in Vielle-Aure in The Pyranees.

Children in Years 5 and 6 benefit not only from lessons from our own specialist, Mrs Hook, but also from teachers from Ridgeway School.

We incorporate French into many aspects of our day to day routine, such as class registration and assemblies. We also hold a French Day every year, when we work in our house groups to learn about different aspects of French life. See our most recent one HERE...

French is also one of the languages featured in our annual Worldbeat Song Contest.

Below you can see some videos produced by our current Year 1 and Year 5 to help learn some useful phrases and ideas.
