We held our final whole school assembly for this academic year on Tuesday 23rd July.

First we enjoyed a superb performance from the Strictly Come Wanborough club, ably coached by Mrs Bridge. You can also see their recent performance for families HERE...

Mr Drury talked about how well our Year 5 and 6 athletes performed at the Blue Kite Games, including some gold medal winning successes. The were all awarded certificates for their participation.

"Joyeux Anniversaire" was sung to the children with birthdays this week or during the holiday.

Finally, Mr Drury spoke about Mr Woodman's contribution to the school over the last 20+ years, with a display highlighting many of these.

He was presented with some gifts and an amazing book of thank you messages from all the children in all the classes.

Mr Woodman and his team of volunteers will still be helping with Gardening Club, and maybe some other events next year, if required, but he is finishing his employment with the school.
