Acorn Class - Term 1

Week 3 

This was Acorn's first full week at school and it was busy one! They created some fantastic self portraits, thinking carefully about the colour, size and shape of our features. We talked about how all of use are different and unique but together we are one team. We ended the week celebrating 'Talk like a Pirate' day and it was filled with fun activities such as: walking the plank, making our own treasure maps, reading stories in the pirate tent, making ourselves into a pirate on a wanted poster and singing lots of pirate songs!

Acorn Class - Term 1 - Week 3

Week 2

Acorn class have settled beautifully into school life. They have enjoyed exploring both our indoor and outdoor areas, playing with different toys. It has been lovely to see the children interacting with each other and making new friends. One activity we completed this week was our wonderful helping hands display. We talked about how we can be helpful to each other and around the classroom. We drew around our hands, carefully cut them out and then decorated them.
