Pinecone Class - Term 

Last week, we continued to explore the work of Henri Matisse. We have looked at the pieces called 'The Snail' and 'The Sheaf'. We created some printing blocks using carboard and string to create leaf shapes like the ones used in 'The Sheaf'. In PE, we have been practising some common gymnastic shapes for balances and then using these to create short sequences. In History, we were able to play with some older toys, explore how they work and how they compare to toys we play with now.

Our topic for this term is toys. Last week, we began looking at instructions in English. We read different instructions and then followed a set of instructions to make a bookmark.
