This week (commencing 2nd Dec) we created our fantastic moving monsters we have spent weeks planning and designing. We used a pneumatic system to make the mouths open and close. We then added great details to make our designs come to life!

This week (commencing 25th Nov) we have been creating pictures on a spreadsheet for computing. We told our partners where to enter the colour on the cells. At the end we looked to see if our partner's picture matched what we explained to them on the computer. During our science lesson, we also used mirrors to complete different tasks like writing secret messages backwards and using the mirror to read them or completing mazes using mirrors.
This week (commencing 18th Nov) we have been thinking about our journey to Britain as Anglo-Saxons, which we are writing diaries about in English. We thought about how rough the waves might have been and the weather we may have encountered. We created fantastic pictures of our ideas using water colours. We mixed different colours and used different amounts of water to create different effects.

This week (commencing 11th Nov) we celebrated Children in Need and World Diabetes Day.
This week (commencing 4th Nov) the children had a fire safety talk which encouraged fantastic discussion about the sound of a fire alarm and what to do if they were to hear a fire alarm going off. Some children also had the opportunity to try on the fire safety equipment. In our computing session, children created spreadsheets to represent the data we found out about Year 3's favourite ice cream flavour. During computing, children also had the chance to go to the library to enjoy exploring and reading different books.
