Maple Class - Term 6
This week (commencing 16th June) we created 3D shapes using straws with our partners! We had to be careful to measure accurately so we didn't have a wonky shape.
This week (commencing 9th June) we worked on making sturdy structures in DT ready for our photo frames at the end of the term. We worked with our partners to build our different types of structures making sure we measured accurately.

This week (commencing 2nd June) we completed an investigation to explore how a stem works. We spoke about the job of a stem and how it carries the water to the flower. After this discussion, we predicted that if we turned the water blue then the flower would also turn blue! Looking at the white roses a few days later, it appears our prediction was correct and they were now blue roses.
